The 2009 Golfweek Junior Series will be comprised of 4 competitive junior golf tournaments, which will serve as qualifiers for the Golfweek Junior Invitational.
The events will be open to all boys and girls ages 18 and under. The goal of the events will be to provide juniors with a competitive environment. The events will be covered in detail by Golfweek and will be ranked by Golfweek.

2 Division: Boys ages 18 and under. Girls ages 18 and under.
Format: 36 holes, stoke play
Tee Yardage: Boys will play on the Ross Tees (blue tees) at approximately 6800 yards. Girls will play from the White tees at approximately 6000 yards.
Field Size: 84 (60 boys / 24 girls). The event will be filled as first come first serve based on registration entry.
Golfweek's Jr. Invitational - Qualifying Information:
Top players from each division will be eligible to play in Golfweek's Junior Invitational, November 7-8, 2009
BOYS:
Field Size, 60: Top 5 & ties
Field Size, 41-59: Top 4 & Ties
Field Size, 25-40: Top 3 & ties
Field Size, 15-24: Top 2 & ties
Field Size, Under 14: Champion
GIRLS:
Field Size, 24: Top 5 & ties
Field Size, 19-23: Top 4 & ties
Field Size, 14-18: Top 3 & ties
Field Size, 8-13: Top 2 & ties
Field Size, Under 7: Champion
Golfweek's Junior Invitational: Top "qualifying winners" will be given exemption into the Invitational, while Golfweek's top-ranked boys and girls will be invited to complete the field. (According to Golfweek/Titleist rankings as of 8/1/09)

Golfweek's Junior Invitational has been recognized by the AJGA. Players who place highly in the Invitational, which will be played Nov. 7-8 at Reunion Resort outside Orlando, Fla., will receive the following exemptions from the AJGA:
BOYS
Champion: Fully exempt
Top-5: 3 tournament exemptions
Top-10: 2 tournament exemptions
Top-15: 1 tournament exemption
GIRLS
Champion: Fully exempt
Top-5: 2 tournament exemptions

| PARS Florida Int'l Junior |

Winners of each Golfweek Junior Series Qualifier will receive an exemption into the 14th PARS FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL JUNIOR at PGA Golf Club, Port St. Lucie, FL. December 28-30, 2009.
This event is an official qualifier for Callaway Junior World, Doral/Publix, The Bubba Conley, Texas/Oklahoma and Starburst, and the Pepsi Little Peoples. Golfweek winners in each division of boys and girls will receive a price reduction of $200 off the package price.
